Revelation #852,824,927,419,749: I woke up a few weeks ago and realized that I was ready for a new pair of eyeglasses. Yes, I know that I have plenty of prescription glasses. Hell, I know that I have an abundance of sunglasses too but I am addicted to the new and shiny things of life. It makes me ridiculously happy. For me, new and shiny is a breath of fresh air. A reset. I feel like I am ready to conquer the world. Crush a new goal. Like, all is right when you have new and shiny things!

I was having the hardest time finding the right pair within my budget. When I’m looking for new specs I need them to pop (but not pop my wallet open). They need to scream, “YAS hunty, VOGUE!”. Well, not those exact words but something really fabulous needs to happen once they touch my face. And not a soul in 2018 has the time to scour all the optical stores in whatever city you live in just for the perfect eyeglasses. Insert Zenni!

I got these for only $29.99. So duh, I bought a bunch! Zenni makes finding high-quality, stylish eyewear absurdly effortless. I spent at least an hour “hearting” all my favorites for my shopping cart. Every look possible. Any occasion. Titanium. Stainless steel. And for those of us who had to endure wearing the thickest pair of glasses in the world in 3rd grade, they also have advanced ultra-lightweight materials such as Ultem and TR90. The options are perfectly endless.

Here are a few tips on how to find your best pair of glasses on Zenni.com

  1. Grab a snack. Actually, eat something before you start shopping for your next pair of eyeglasses. You could be on their website for a few hours, minimum of 37 minutes. Actually, you’ll be there for at least 64 minutes.
  2. Use the “favorite” function. I promise you that little heart will save your life. I wasted about 32 minutes scrolling up and down and back again trying to remember which ones I wanted to buy.
  3. Be sure to have your PD (pupil distance) correct. I’ve noticed a lot of times people don’t love their online eyeglass purchases. But it’s usually because their glasses don’t fit. Get your prescription triple checked.

The best part about finding Zenni is that they are so affordable. I could have bought an entire eyeglass wardrobe. Hmm. Adds to “To Do” list.
