My vacation is over and I am legit having a North West temper tantrum. These past couple of New York winters have been completely unbearable for me. So my need to escape to warmer weather just keeps increasing each season.
Last week, I took a last-minute trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico with my besties (stay tuned for a photo diary post). I really wish I could have stayed forever. Like, I’d really consider moving there. That’s how much I loved it.
Before I left, I reached out to a few of my favorite plus size brands (Monif C, Forever21, swimsuitsforall, and SimplyBe) to see if they’d like to sponsor my first swimsuit look book. I couldn’t fit all the swimsuits I received in my carry-on, checking bags is not my ministry, so I packed what I could. But don’t worry, I’m headed to Jamaica again in June so I’ll have part two then.
This look book is a first for me (hopefully it will not be my last). You guys know I usually just talk about beauty but I wanted to step outside of my comfort zone a bit. Over the past three years I’ve gained nearly 50 pounds, we’ll blame 25 on grieving and the other 25 on just being greedy. But because I’m like the most fabulous person I know (if you keep telling yourself that you’ll believe it) I sucked in my tummy as far as I could without passing out and posed for the camera. Shout out to my besties for snapping these pics!
