After my getting my eating habits in check I began working out on the regular. I realized that just doing my Zumba workouts and a little Cardio 3x’s a week isn’t enough. Plus, my gym is filled with extra buff health nuts which kinda leaves fat ole me a little intimidated. But almost like clockwork, I found another healthy program to participate in.



The Nike Training Club is a full-body women’s training app for the iPhone or iPod that provides a slew of workouts paired with amazing video instructions and images for each of them. It’s like having a personal trainer right in the palm of your hands – for FREE. Perfect for the busy blogger in me. Excellent prescription for all the excuses that I have about not knowing what to do when I actually get to the gym. Or even not being able to make it to the gym. I can do this right in my living room!

WARNING: Because the app is filled with sooooo much greatness it did take a trillion hours to download. BUT it was soooo worth it.

You’re able to choose your goal (GET LEAN. GET TONED. GET STRONG. GET FOCUSED.), your level (BEGINNGER. INTERMEDIATE. ADVANCED.), and then either a 30 or 45 minute workout. Each workout has nearly 30 different exercises that you do for 1 minute each … sheesh right. As a bonus you are also able to load music to each workout, COOL RIGHT!

I’ll be participating on the GET LEAN and GET FOCUSED programs. For the next 5 weeks I will keep track of my workouts (maybe even do a few before/after photos, and some vids) and share them with you guys – because you care right, LOL. I hope that a few of you will join in.
