Can I get a virtual thunda clap for another outfit post? I swear I’m trying y’all.
I went out on another lim with this one. Since ya know, crop tops are totally ok for fat girls (Thanks O Magazine) I feel like now you’ll start seeing an influx of them on your timeline. We clearly don’t like being told that we can’t wear something. #GoUs
This look was kinda inspired by Kela Walker. It was her birthday (go say HBD to her on IG) and she requested that we all arrive “kute” for her intimate birthday brunch. Le sigh. I totally didn’t want to be cuter than her since it was her birthday but I didn’t want to be a lame either.
Luckily for me the above two-piece crop top set just came in the mail. The girls at Curvy Con gifted us a huge bag filled with goodies and a Rebdolls gift card was included *squeals*. I had been dying to try this brand and since I wasn’t spending my coins, I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to try something not black and safe.
I absolutely love the fit! The material is super stretchy but as much as I tried I just wasn’t bold enough to wear this all together.
SHOP MY LOOK
Instead, I paired the top with a skirt I’ve had from Eloquii from ages ago. Like, I bought this skirt nearly 2 years. But the key to building your wardrobe is to buy things you love (regardless if you can see the whole look in your head or not) and then figure out how to wear it later. I swear that’s what all these top style bloggers are doing! Don’t let them tell you otherwise.
Anyways, let’s do some shopping shall we?!
