I’m really geeked, excited, pumped, elated — basically doing-fashionable-cartwheels and all hype about this one. It’s the first challenge where I am certain I can complete. Not only that, it’s realistic. Most things on the list I either own and haven’t worn or really want to try and show you guys big girls can do it too.
Last week I went through my closet and paired some pieces together so that I could start crossing out some items on the list. I was proud that I knocked out so many the first time in the studio. Here’s my first look.
A high-waisted bottom is my new favorite trend for the curvy girls with an hourglass shape. It can also work for a boyish frame, or an athletic build as well. Think of it as a built in Spanx. This look will tone and flatten the tummy area. On the down side, this look is totally for a ‘stand up and walk around event’. Sitting down was extremely uncomfortable and the whole time this skirt kept rising. But overall I adore this look and I think you will see me in tons of high waisted bottoms this fall.
Check me out.
