Last night all my fancy tweethearts attended the taping of VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul (check out some of the pics here). I think I may have to add this to my list of must-attend events. But after seeing the live tweets I am not sure I missed anything. Tons of mixed reviews — some loved all the divas and their rendition of classic soul music, others viewed it as way too much over singing. 

I didn’t catch the special when it aired so I went searching on the www for the clips. I enjoyed my favs, Jill Scott and Erykah Badu, they always deliver a solid performance. In case you care watch the videos below. You might wanna grab a cup of tea for this!
