Hey Readies!

I’m home (and by home I mean my parents house in Maryland).

After talking to my mom all afternoon, I felt really good. Just about life. Her progress with Cancer. My progress with my new life. I know that we are both on this incredible journey together and we are so grateful, just to be alive and kickinit

I know it may sound odd for me to use the word incredible to describe my Mother’s battle with Cancer but it’s so fitting. She’s on her third chemo treatment (a tentative 6 more to go) and it’s going extremely well. Her spirit was never moved. Not once. She’s remained the same carefree, funny, sarcastic Mom I’ve always known since a little girl. So for that… it’s incredibleWhen I walked in the room a HUGE smile came over her face, I almost cried. So in true blogger form I celebrated, via pics!

I’m wearing my favorite GAP maxi dress. I mean it doesn’t get any more comfortable than this dress. I wanted to add some color to my look today so I’m wearing my turquoise braided beaded necklace by Sonoma that I scored at Kohl’s (read that post here).

XOXO Have an ah-mazing week! Because I plan to.
