The resort collection shows and presentation have wrapped up and now I can share my absolute favs. In case you are in the dark about what a Resort Collection is, let me give you my definition.

I believe it to be that time between summer and fall when all the riches vacay in the Hamptons without us. In my case it’s probably the only set of shows I haven’t been to in the US. Can you say put-on-vision-board? DONE.

And this season, like many others, offered tons of amazing RTW pieces! Check out my gallery of favs.

My absolutely favorite from the collection is definitely Derek Lam. Nothing says chic and sexy like bright trousers, and a fitted blazer. His entire collection was so me. From colors to the fit — I hope they come in my size.

The lookbook for Ports 1961 literally gives me gooseys. There are quite a few pieces that are similar to the above collection from Derek Lam, but Ports 1961 always gives you a certain amount of ‘Pretty In Pink‘. Or should I say Orange this go around.

Balenciagia! If you are a girl with an unlimited budget or a dreamer like me, add these to your want list. Somehow the designer managed to wow me with a muted color palette and sharp design shapes. Let’s not spend the rent check but perhaps save some loot for a good gown occasion?!

I’ve been a fan of Lanvin long before their H&M debut. But I have noticed since then the designer has done a great job at creating real clothes. Not though crazy threads that no one will be wearing off the runway. I especially appreciate Alber Elbaz’s ability to make a great day party dress.

I am super duper positive that if I were at the Temperley London show/presentation I would have clapped the entire time. So much so that my hands would probably be bleeding. This is my favorite 1A collection. If that even makes any sense.

The Styling. The Imagery. THAT HAT! Omgeezy, LOVES IT.

There’s tons more over at Style.com but these are my favorites. Q, So tell me, what’s the best thing about summer/fall wear to you? I love a good flowy dress and wedged heel!
