Redbook magazine curated their first annual blogger beauty box and guess who got their hands on this exclusive fabulousness! Me, duh!
Redbook and I have been in a loving relationship for the past few years. I read the publication each month and I’ve even been featured in the glossy a few times (see here and here!). So obviously I’m excited to be able to preview this box and give you beauties a first look.
I’ve talked a lot about beauty boxes here. It’s no secret that I think it’s a genius consumer concept, one I wish I had of though of. Beauty boxes introduce you to products that you might not have otherwise tried or remind you of the love you once had for a brand.
This box is no different. So what is in this magical beauty box?
Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant
I’m not sure that deodorant really needs an introduction but know that Secret is one of the best. I’ve been using it since my teenage years. It’s nothing worst than a product that fails you and doesn’t deliver. You will not have that issue with this one.
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure
To know me is to know that I adore nail polish and firmly believe that (1) you can never have enough and (2) no two colors are ever the same no matter what my boyfriend says and that (3) I think my boyfriend might be color blind.
Sally Hansen’s complete salon manicure is one of my favorites before opening this box so I am super geeked to try two more shades. What makes this product so swoon-worthy is it’s 7 benefits in a bottle formula. So it’s base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, color, top coat, chip-resistant, and gel shine. What that translates into is time-saving! Sign me up.
Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting BHA Liquid Exfoliant
The universe totally knows when my skin is being unruly. Now that I am about to be in my 40’s, I can no longer avoid adopting a skin care regimen. This product works for acne breakouts, blackheads, enlarged pores and a bunch of other skin related issues we all like avoid but cannot.
Vaseline Advanced Relief Healing Serum
Just in time for the harsh winter winds that are about to try and ruin our soft hands reputation! This lotion does the normal, calms dry skin and moisturizes. But here’s why I love it. It’s clearly made by those Unicorns in Zamunda because it smells like Heaven. Roses and amber and an aroma of vanilla–YEP, Heaven!
This post isn’t just to brag about the cool stuff I get! You guys can enter to win a beauty box of your own (squeals!). Click here to win!
