One of my favorite items in my closet is a sequins skirt from Forever21+. I really wish I could say I didn’t love Forever 21+, since they really give no advert love to the curvy community, but I do. Because this sequins skirt is such a “stand out” garment I’ve only worn it twice. I thought I would show you guys how to style one piece in several different ways. I confess, I am that girl you talk about because she’s rocking the same pair of jeans to every event. I am a creature of habit. I digress.
All black is really my comfort zone, as is to many curvy women. I feel like I don’t have to hold the mid section in as much … even though I probably should, LOL. The only item I am wearing not Forever21 are my shoes from Torrid. This blouse I absolutely love. That is after I plucked off the pearls and glitter ish that was on the bust area. So unnecessary. But I can switch the skirt out for some slacks and have a perfect 9to5 look.
I was slightly surprised when I was able to fit this shirt because it’s a large from the skinny chick section of Forever21. I did slice it up a bit to give the shoulder action I needed.
I can’t remember the last time I brought BRIGHT BLUE anything. I mean I named my blog GorgeousInGrey.com for a reason. Not only is my hair grey but so is the majority of my closet. I originally brought the shirt to pair with my leopard shoes but in the end I’ve worn it quite a few times with my skinnies and my short shorts (just I have them too).
Loving my new fav Hendrix tee which I got from H&M that I also sliced! And I brought these Alice + Oliva heels from Payless (at least 3 years ago) and NEVER worn them outside of my home. The BF hates when I do that but hey… it’s a perfect photo shoot heel.

I love this skirt and it’s in BLACK!!!! yearning for it! I have a multi colored French Connection sequin skirt I’ve never worn mostly because I secretly wish it was BLACK!!!

When I found this blog I was elated, because I love the color grey too! That’s definitely a go-to color for me because you can dress it up or down. It’s the perfect color because you can wear it any time of the year. My go-to item is probably my cardigan collection. I LOVE them and they’re so cute. I just can’t help myself! More cardigans will definitely be in my closet since fall has returned!
