A few weeks ago I filmed a new web series, The Dish, which is powered by TalkingTexture.com. One could say I am getting use to this on-camera thing! I kinda love it (insert giggles).
The Dish is unique because it’s like a girl’s night out featuring bloggers, writers and editors. We’re always immersed in writing about trends and events, so it’s fun to sit and chat about those risqué, water-cooler conversations that still pertain to beauty.
Umm…in case you didn’t notice, I am totes obsessed with lipsticks (and maybe this green eyeliner too). I have hundreds of lipsticks in an array of vibrant colors. I am not your boring nude lipstick wearing beauty blogger #ShadeNoShade. Partly because I am now also obsessed with the black and white trend, so adding a pop of color to my look each day is a necessity.
The orange lipstick trend has been on my list to try since last fall and it’s officially becoming my new favorite hue. Who know it could look so amazing on a brown girl?
GET excited! I’ve uploaded another YouTubevideo. I am on a roll beauties. This video is all about my beauty favorites for the month of February. This is not a sponsored video…it’s all products that I’ve been swooning over and wear daily. The links to purchase are mentioned in the “about” section of the video. And remember to watch in HD because frankly, I look better in high definition! LOL. Enjoy.
It’s almost spring and I am so excited! I’m closing out winter recovering from the flu, so you can only imagine how ready I am for Old Man Winter to exit stage left. During my bedridden state, I kept my eye out for shoes that would set my toes free from socks and boots. I’m over it, can you tell? No, really?
Last summer the plus size industry was devastated to learn that Eloquii, then owned by The Limited, would be closing. Customers petitions and ranted on social media but things eventually still went south and ended up on sale. A few weeks later, poof…that was the end!
Well, sometimes the second time around is even better. Eloquii has left The Limited umbrella and is now independently operating but with more edge, more youthful designs, and a kinda awesome price point.
