Some are coining Sally Lapointe as the next Alexander McQueen. I think that’s a stretch BUT her designs speak with volumes of trendy styles. The new Spring 2012 collection debuted at Center 548 using the statement shoulder as the main sculpture of the line. Featuring very muted grays, heavy blacks, and hints of yellow – a somewhat feminine spring collection outside of the norm for her first runway show.
