I’ve been coming to New York for the past 8 or 9 years and not once do I come just to explore the city and do the corny ish that tourists do.
So I’m making a bucket list of things I want to do in New York affectionately titled — NY Tourist-Ish Bucket List. I’m doing this kinda of backwards because I haven’t completed my list yet but I was way too excited about my recent visit to sit on this post. SO expect the full list soon.
For now I am happy to report I checked one stop of my list — Coney Island. It was never a real desire to go until last week. We were at FFFWeek and a friend attempted to get a Nathan’s hot dog from 31st Street. You would have thought she was crossing the street while the little red hand was blinking. Apparently, you have to get an authentic one from Coney Island.
Well for my bff’s birthday we did that, plus tons of other kinda cute but annoying tourist things at the beach. We met up with Bethany’s friend, Diana – who is also a makeup artist … and I met a new blogger, Genevieve from GorgeousOnTheGo.com. Super fun times had by all! I cannot wait to complete more stuff of my list in the making.

I have been a regular visitor to the City since 71, I have the regular haunts I do. However I have not done the Tourish Bucket List, I am going to start one now. Thanks for the gentle nudge.
