Oh how I adore the sparkle and glitter. Especially on my nails.

But 30 cotton balls later and you’re still stuck with your un-fabulous glitter polish, it now seems like a horrible idea. That is… until some genius put all of us “d” to how to remove it–without the stress.

You will need the following:

  1. Aluminum Foil
  2. Cotton Balls
  3. Nail Polish Remover


how to remove glitter nail polish

First get two generously sized sheets of aluminum foil. Fold and tear the sheets until you have 10 individual sheets (one for each nail). Saturate a cotton ball with polish remover. Place the cotton ball on your nail and then wrap the foil tightly around your nail and the cotton ball… and repeat. Wait 15 minutes and boom it’s gone.

I have yet to learn to do all my fingers at once so I do one hand at a time. It’s about a 30 minute process. I choose to watch “Scandal” again while I was waiting. The time breezed by!
