One of those nights last week (LOL) I hung out with Renee from In Her Shoes blog. She hosted a way-too-cute girls night in at the Polish Bar in Brooklyn with delish treats, martini’s and of course manicures. I was in need of a much needed pampering session so I didn’t hesitate to move some things around so that I could come out and support Renee.

I’d only been to the Polish Bar once before and because I got lost on the trains, when I arrived to the event… it was over. But not this time! I made sure to leave Manhattan in amply time AND I followed HopStop like it was the bible.

I was greeted with nothing but smiles and oh yea, cocktails too. I think if nail salons always served complimentary drinks they would have an increase in repeat customers, IJS! Renee and Trisha from PBB gave their little spiels thanking us for coming out and provided a little information about the products. We each got 2 nail decals from the Dashing Diva Pro collection.  

I LOVED LOVED my designs and the OPI color (FLY) was spectacular. I did have help from one of PBB girls putting this look together, so I won’t take all the credit the fabulous-ness. But I am sad to type this unfortunate bit of info… my little decals made their way to the trash within 24 hours. I don’t know if it was the clear polish she added as a top coat (I hear you shouldn’t add a top coat to decals) or the dishes I washed the day after (We all know maids do better dishes) but… I was sad. Luckily I have PICS!
