M.A.C Cosmetics has become known for its collaborations. They have joined forces with many celebrities to raise funds for AIDS awareness through the Viva Glam campaigns. Past campaigns have included big names like: Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Lorde, Lil Kim, Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus and Rihanna. While this formula has been a huge success for the cosmetics giant, they are ready to try something a little different.
This Spring, M.A.C Cosmetics will launch Future Forward, the first of a series of collaborations and campaigns that spotlight newer talent. The campaign plans to shine even more light on these chart topping newbies who are making waves within the music industry. For the debut capsule, artists Tinashe, Dej Loaf, Lion Babe’s Jillian Hervey and Halsey will be working with M.A.C.
M.A.C Senior Vice President and Group Creative Director James Gager, took part in an exclusive interview with Billboard which shared all of the details of the Future Forward campaign. From the looks of things, this is going to be another sold out campaign for the books. Since I know that you are dying to know the deets, allow me to share with you.
