While perusing one of my favorite blogs (PrettyConnected.com) I read a recent post of hers that I had to share with you.
L’Oréal Paris is asking all of us to nominate a woman we admire in order to help them select 10 amazing women to join the Women of Worth roster. To date L’Oréal has recognized 60 incredible women changing our world. Last year’s nominees included a woman who has fostered over 200 children, a woman raising awareness against sexual and cyber bullying, and a woman making a difference in the lives of single mothers — just to name a few.
WHY YOU SHOULD NOMINATE SOMEONE:
Ten honorees will receive $10,000 for their causes – with one of them receiving an additional $25,000 as the 2012 Woman of Worth National Honoree. Nominations are now and run through May 31, 2012. This is your chance to raise your voice – and celebrate women who raise the bar!
Of course there’s a celebration with an awards ceremony and dinner hosted by Hearst Magazines and L’Oréal Paris in New York City. All ten honorees will be recognized, and the National Honoree will be announced.
