[beauty review] L’Oreal True Match Matchmaker App

I can’t think of anything worst than a gorgeous woman walking down the streets of New York, dressed by the fashion gods in her Lanvin pleated dress, her vintage Chanel purse, and her new Prada shades — but (GASP) her foundation doesn’t match. I know you’ve seen it. That dreadful line under the chin that so clearly shows what color you are and what color your foundation is. I actually sympathize with those girls. They’re lost beauty souls awaiting to be saved by the L’Oreal True Match Matchmaker App

Don’t you just LOVE when technology and beauty collide.

What’s great about this app:
QUICK TO DOWNLOAD. - It downloaded in literally 2 minutes. So that means it’s not taking up a lot of space on your iPhone/iPad/iPod.
QUICK TO USE. – The app asked a few quick questions about my skin’s undertone, what colors I think look best on me, and even what kinda of jewelry I prefer to wear.

What’s great about the L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Makeup:
If you’re like me you dread getting up in the morning so spending an extra 30 minutes on your makeup isn’t an option if you want to be on time. This foundation is easy to apply whether using your brush, your sponge, and if you’re a pro you can also use your hands. Either choice you make it’s a 5 minute job in the AM.

What I didn’t like:
Although there are TONS of shades offered and surprisingly quite a few for us brown girls, my local store only had 4 shades available for darker skin. REALLY?

Check out a few images I took of the app on my iPod, the selections that were available at the store I visited, and my face before and after. As a bonus I did a short video via my phone via my bathroom to show you my face in real time. XOXO!
