[style diary] Linen Ties by Land’s End

I am really showing off wearing all of these skirts and dresses. I can remember my middle school days — screaming and stomping down the steps because I didn’t want to put that picture day dress on. Or it may have been that my mother just went overboard matching my clothes with the bows and ribbons on my hair. But things change, and so has my wardrobe.

I was one of 25 selected Plus Size Fashion bloggers to participate in the “Show Us Your Style” campaign by Land’s End.

The task was to shop one apparel item from their plus collection. After clicking on and off dresses, pants, and skirts I picked a linen tie-back skirt. What really sold me was the model. She looked comfortable yet chic, and most importantly her mid section appeared flat. SOLD!

I was finally able to get a few pictures snapped of my look even though I’ve worn this skirt 3 times to work. At work I wore black flats but here I’m wearing my favorite tan bootie pumps from Nine West, a black tee from Old Navy, and accessories from Forever21.
