What I Did The Other Day: Land’s End Back To School Event (event recap)

I had the opportunity to attend BlogHer12 this year in NYC. Unfortunately I was volunteering so there wasn’t much to recap besides the corny snap shots, which I posted on Facebook. 

I did have a break that Saturday to attend Land’s End Back To School Fall Preview Event. Like most events, I ended up pow wowing with a blogger girlfriend of mine. This time it is was Curves And Chaos. We actually managed to squeeze all of our curves on a yellow school bus and headed over to the cutest and hottest venue I’ve ever been to. The back to school theme was just too cute. From the school bus, to the chalk boards, to our very own report cards. Kudos to the pr team for their creativity. 

The event showcased Land’s End new fall collection with both plus size and straight size looks. This was a nice surprise since normally it’s either or. Perhaps this is a start of a new trend. In addition, Blogger Brittany Gibbons was on hand to chat about her styling efforts for the brand.
