5 Stunning Gowns From The Miss Universe Competition

I didn’t even manage to catch the Miss Universe competition the other night because I was busy roaming the streets of NY. But I was online and EVERYONE was tweeting the exact same thing… how stunning the gowns were!

There was lace, plunging necklines, and oh my tons of shiny, sparkly and glittery fabrics. This was definitely a year filled of fabulous fashion statements. Although most of us may be still mad at Donald Trump, who is the man behind the pageant, for bullying our President–we still tuned in to see the winner.

Congrats to Miss USA, Olivia Culpo!

But it was Leila Lopes, Miss Universe 2011, who totally stole my heart. Hopefully she won’t get all “gone with the wind” like RHOA’s Kenya Moore (LOL). Leila werked the stage with a gorgeous custom-made chartreuse gown with black peplum attachment from Korto Momolu.

Check out a few other gowns that had me swooning!
