Blogging to me is a never ending conversation. Which is why I love being apart of FBFF. This Friday we ask ourselves – what have been the 5 hardest blogging lessons you’ve learned during this process and have helped make you a better blogger as a result.
- Creating a niche is only half of your worries – just blog about something! – The more you blog the more you learn about who you are as a writer. Hell, you learn if you are even a writer at all. Through technology you will learn what your reader wants to read, when they want to read it, and how they read your site. Use all the technology that we have and build a successful blog around that.
- Be yourself - You’ve got one up on everyone in blogging. No one can be you! #ThatsAll
- It’s not an overnight process and there is NO BLUEPRINT to success, PERIOD! – As any other profession it takes hard work. Sure we all want to be traveling the world like BryanBoy and sitting front row at fashion shows, and we all want brands to call us for our opinions on what they should be doing for consumers. But before you get to that street you’ve got put work in. Plain and simple!
- You are you brand … at all times! – Social networking rules our lives now. But don’t let this new way of communication ruin your life. What you say on the internet sticks. So plug, plug, plug your site and your blog posts. But try to hold your tongue when you need to vent.
- Have FUN!
