First let me recognize the hoarder in me. I have tons of clothes!
With tags or without tags, what’s most important is that I have either never worn them or the item(s) merely made one appearance at an event. The sad part — I am attached to my clothes. This event showed that I definitely need to add a SHOP MY FAVS to my blog post (that’s coming soon).
I’VE GOT A SHOPPING HABIT &
Once I came to terms with my own attachment issues, I stuffed all my gently used and brand new clothes in my big suitcase and traveled to my second home, NYC. Gabi and I had the same idea. Get there early and set up! Except the difference — Gabi had like 12 trash bags filled with stuff, gees.
WHEN I ARRIVED
A few hours later, I got settled into my little spot in the basement of the venue (don’t ever ask why I was in the basement). I had every intention to change into my look that I had been planning for months. But the line was building outside and customers were quickly asking, What size is that? & How much is this? Next time I will definitely bring a (female) assistant. My boy was … a boy. LOL.
I HAD A BLAST ALTHOUGH I DIDN’T MAKE MUCH $$
Check out a few images from the event. The plan was to take pics of folks who had purchased from my closet but between no one knowing where I was in the basement and the fact that I spent more time talking to the people who did find me, I completely forgot.
Oh Wells! Kudos to the Fatshion Insider for producing the event. I was very grateful to meet so many of my readies in person.

It was indeed a great night and it was a pleasure meeting you! Your energy is so positive. Don’t even worry about your outfit, it was too hot in that building to care lol. Although I did not have the opportunity to purchase , you had some amazing pieces which speaks volumes to your fabulous taste!!! See you at the next event!!!
