I remember watching The Jungle Book as a child. Back then, I wasn’t aware of the life lessons that existed in this movie. It was all about the “bear necessities”. Tell me you don’t know that song?!
Fast forward to today and the movie represents so much more. Thanks to Disney I was able to see an advanced screening of the movie. Because of today’s technology this movie is by far the most visually appealing movie that I’ve ever experienced. And I truly hate 3D (like split pea soup, yuck!). But this was more than that. It’s truly an experience. From the state of the art sound, to the moments were you low-key believe that you and Mowgli are on this 3 hour excursion together.
If you haven’t seen this movie, you and I can’t be real friends. You need to catch up. In the meantime, check out this dinner conversation we (a bunch of really fabulous writers and bloggers) had after our movie experience.
