Dennis Basso‘s 30th anniversary collection was truly the show to be at under the tents on Tuesday, February 12th. Classic glamour was served for Fall 2013. Using American fashion icons as inspiration, Basso took timeless everyday silhouettes and made them iconic.
Alligator outerwear came in slate blue, black, and evergreen. Mink Ponchos and fox shrugs appeared on the runway alongside velvet pants, plaid organza gowns, and chiffon blouses. Because Basso says the collection reflects women with great style, I’ve found five divas (that embody all things glamour) that we might see in Dennis Basso this coming fall.
Kourtney Kardashian: Tell me you can’t see Kourtney Kardashian jet setting in one of these fur garments
Star Jones: This diva clearly alines with this brand and who they cater to… a fierce and fabulous career woman.
Joan Rivers: Joan is good for wearing a fur on E! Fashion Police, so I wouldn’t be shocked if Dennis Basso’s name popped up on the outfit credits.
Lil Kim: Mink and faux furs, alligator jackets–you can’t tell me this doesn’t fit Lil Kim’s over the top character.
Nicole Miller: Yes I know she’s a designer but she did attend the fall 2013 collection runway show, so one could assume that when she’s not wearing her own line, she’s in Dennis Basso.
