I had the opportunity to try out a new foundation from Cover FX at their NYC Bloggers Exclusive Event (XO to Afrobella for the invite). I’ve been hooked on one brand since last year but I was game to see what CoverFX had to offer for us brown chicks!

The event was really a reunion for us beauty bloggers and as always it’s great to see my blogger boos. I hustled over after slaving all day at work (lies) and I was greeted with a personal makeup consultation. I should remember homeboys name because he was hilarious. I had to wait a few weeks since they didn’t bring enough of my color (N100). I had it mailed to my job–makes me look important.

I’ve worn it a few times and it matches perfectly. I did feel like it took a little longer to apply. But I think it’s just a little light. I’ve been wearing full face all year so.. it’s just different. Here’s me with and without face. My disclaimer is that one was taken at night and the other during the day.

But overall I like the foundation and I would definitely purchase it when I run out. So HOW DO I LOOK?
