My new closet quest is to revamp it (completely) with staple pieces that will last beyond that items trending season. A lot of times we get caught up in the hype and we end up buying expensive pieces just because it’s from so-and-so famous designer. I am aiming to build an ‘awwh‘ worthy closet.
First item on my list is a bright colored blazer. I have a feeling that this will be a classic look for seasons to come. It’s the perfect transitional piece and instantly ups your LBD from chic to VA VA VA VOOM!

i felt similar a while back.. hot pink and powder blue are on my list… i’m tired of plus size blazers having one button under the boobs! give me two or three… it’s ok! i don’t want ruched sleeves either, i want to cuff the arms of my blazer at the wrist =(((( lol! =p

Funny I never even noticed the button. Doesn’t bother me as much since I usually don’t close my blazer.

I so want that J. Crew wool jacket! I love the cut and the color. Like you, I’ve been on a bright blazer closet quest as well. I have a few bright colors, such as turquoise, raspberry, pink, and purple, but I really want a tangerine hued one like Elle Varner has on in her “Only Wanna Give It To You” video.
