Earlier this week, Karl Lagerfeld and #TeamChanel wowed fashion show goers with a giant quilted bag held between two hula hoops.
I can barely make a circle around my hips with a hula hoop so I would imagine it might be easier to hold on my arm? I’m just wondering when the first basketball bag is making a debut. Just seem silly and not fashionable to me but some consider this innovative. And surely Karl thought it was a grand idea.
Here’s what Lagerfeld told The Daily Telegraph about the bag’s purpose:
“It’s for the beach. You need space for the beach towel, huh? And then you can put it into the sand and hang things on it, and things like that. The bathing suit with it was the only thing with the Chanel logo, there was no logo.”
Are we feeling Chanel's Hula Hoop bag?

It looks like Chanel has lost their minds.

I wouldn’t wear it, but I give them an A for creativity.

Mixed emotions appear around the brand’s hottest coveted bag. Between loving its creative inspirational way to being called a gloomy idea, the Chanel Hula Hoop Tote left people wondering the thought process behind the purse. Karl Lagerfeld promises the bag is for the shore-it’s big enough for your towel and easy to press into the sand to hang items off of.
