You beauties should know by now I am on a never ending journey to find the perfect skin care routine. I know never ending sounds intense but that’s only because I’m a Scorpio and I have serious commitment issues. Add on the fact that I love new things and my issue turns into a massive problem. I use to think that perfect skin just sort of happened, no work is needed. I also believe in fairies and unicorns (please don’t try to tell me otherwise). In my mind perfect skin just sort of happens, no work is needed. I also believe in fairies and unicorns (please don’t try to tell me otherwise). But in the real world, perfect skin requires good products and daily work. It’s something that you start doing before the wrinkles and the puffy bags form and take a cozy spot on your face. Meaning, a good skin care regimen should be in place before you turn 40. But if your mother wasn’t like mine and didn’t drill the importance of taking care of your skin, I’ve got good news for you. There are a few products on the market that can help you along the way and improve your skin regimen even if you are late to the party.

nars be audacious

Listen! I AM A MASCARA SNOB. You might ask, “what is that?” It’s wear you spend a little extra for good mascara. Not that I don’t love a good drugstore find, because I most certainly do. BUT, it’s a few things I require my mascara to possess (things snobs say)!

For me, bristles matter! Packaging matters! Design matters. I am a sucker for a fancy box. You know the bells and whistles. But you have to be careful with some of those whistles. They can be broken upon purchase. Like, you’re just paying for fancy box, the great mascara is sold separately–from another brand.

Fortunately, this is NOT the case for NARS Audacious Mascara!
