What I Did The Other Night: Black Girls Rock! 2012

I adore my new life. I’ve met so many amazing people in the last few months and I am having a ball–as you can probably tell from my lack of posting. Last weekend I had the opportunity to cover the red carpet for Black Girls Rock! 2012 and attend the awards ceremony.

Talk about inspiring. From Tracee Ellis Ross blowing me kisses on the red carpet, to India Arie’s ah-mazing performance and tribute to Robin Roberts… oh how I cried. I sang like my 14-year-old self and relived all my HS basement party memories when SWV performed. It was just a great evening and I’m lucky to be a part of it.

I will be live tweeting during the show on November 4th, since it’s my BIRTHDAY! *FIST PUMPS* In the meantime, check out the pictures from the red carpet that I took! XOXO
