What’s The Best Makeup Setting Spray To Set My Foundation

ty alexander

If you’re my friend (IRL) you know that I DO NOT reapply my foundation, ever! So don’t ask me for a brush in the middle of the day or anything makeup related–all I have on me is my is lipstick, because a girl might change her mind at 7pm.

My reader, Quetta wants to know…

I was wondering what you’d recommend to set my foundation in place. I mix 2 liquid foundations (different brands) together and I’m happy with the shade….but NOT HAPPY with it ending up everywhere else, as well. Any suggestions?? (I also have oily skin….so this doesn’t help.)

Happy Friday,
Quetta

Boscia White Charcoal Mattifying Makeup Setting Spray

This is a new fave of mine. Boscis makeup setting spray is a good mattifying primer and/or setting spray so I was excited to try this out. It says it can be used as a primer, setting spray, and even as a refresher on top of make up. I’m currently using it as a primer and setting spray and have noticed a huge difference in make up longevity, as well as oil control during the day.

Laura Mercier

The last (and certainly not least) favorite powder is LAURA MERCIER’s Translucent Loose Setting Powder. What’s great about this product is that it’s infused with the finest French “cashmere talc.” So what does that mean right? It means it’s non-dusty, non-drying and creates a flawless finish!
