Gorgeous In Grey is lifestyle blog sharing the latest in fashion & beauty news, product reviews, brand launches, great shopping deals, and a behind-the-scenes peek at the industry everyone wants to be in.
Every now and then I will even post a funny YouTube video (not necessarily from my channel) just to take the edge off. GIG is a reflection of me and you. Positive living every day through fashion and beauty.
If you are new to my blog, here’s what to expect:
I will often refer to you as my Readies. Readers was too boring and frankly just wasn’t cool enough. And Lovebugs, Lovelies, and Gorgies was too corny for my taste.
On my blog you will read about my Mercedes Benz Fashion Week woos, watch my video blogs giving fashion and beauty tips, see me interview my favorite fashion and beauty trendsetters, get exclusive designer showroom event recaps, and even catch me hosting a few parties of my own.
You will also come to know that I’m not your typical skinny, long blonde haired, camera toting lifestyle blogger bragging about what cool things I’ve been gifted. Well I do brag and I do have a camera, LOL.
But I am a 30 something (actually 36) writer gorgeously sporting my natural grey tresses maintaining, or should I say struggling with, a busy life as a style & beauty editor, a graphic designer, a self proclaimed tweetologist, a curvy bloggerista, a photographer (humm, maybe I’ll be a DJ next?) … anywhos, I am Gorgeous In Grey!
With that said, let’s get to know each other better. I am super friendly, a little shy, but I always respond & always always hug when I meet people. So leave me a comment, email me, facebook me, tweet me, send me fan mail (*laughs* I wish) or whatever. I am a talker so let’s chat.

I am sooooo pleased to come across your site. Unfortunately, (or luckily) I hardly ever wear make up but I do dabble, so its nice to see what Black women are buying and trying.
What bought me to you site was the grey hair. Yep, I had a beautiful black afro and now voila it is grey, grey, grey and I hate it. Please don’t tell me to love it cos I can’t. It is, for me the one thing that makes me feel OLD.
Anyway I am living with it, mind you its not the only thing that’s gone grey!!!! I do really like your site and am wondering if you have any hints or tips for me living in Australia, New South Wales, Sydney to be precise.
The country isn’t quite geared up for Black women say like USA or the UK where I am from originally but there are many African stores and women making a good living from hairdressing.
So if you are ever over there are some places that I would highly recommend here in Sydney and in Perth. There’s heaps more for me to discover and I’ll let you know along the way.
