3 Reasons I am happy this Holiday Season

It’s totally Christmas Eve, today. Are you in the spirit? I’m not quite there yet. I still have not seen my favorite holiday special, How The Grinch That Stole Christmas. They keep showing the one with Jim Carey, UGH! I need the 1966 version. I think I will add that to my Christmas list for next year. Anyways!

Like every other blog on in www I have to share the reasons why I am happy this holiday season. It’s really 3 simple reasons why I am happy with my life. I have a feeling they might even be the same exact reasons that you may be happy too. But if you’re feeling a bit Grinch like this season and cannot think of any reason why you shouldn’t be complaining let me remind you of 3 things:

MY HEALTH: Yesterday I did some last minute shopping. When I left the mall I saw 3 people crossing the street. All 3 were blind and one of them was in a wheelchair with one leg. I couldn’t hear what they were saying, but they laughed and joked as they crossed the street (I swear I wanted to help but I figured they must do this all the time #shrugs). As I watched, they seemed so happy. I can’t imagine what it’s like not to see this beautiful world that I am often inspired by. We take life for granted everyday. Of course most of us are reminded of how fortunate we are during the holidays. But everyday I pay attention to the world in front of me and I am thankful for my good health. The ability to walk anywhere, to see, and to hear. #Tears!

MY FAMILY: OMGEEZY, what would I do without my family. The people that keep me sane. The folks that tell me when I am wrong. Congratulate you when you’ve done great. I love my family. My parents, my son, boyfriend, besties.. they all have made a huge part in shaping the woman that I have become. And I am thankful for them.

YOU: I remember when I first started my blog. No one read it. I didn’t know what I wanted to blog about (hell I still don’t on some days). At first I blogged about celebrity gossip until I realized that wasn’t the route I wanted to go. There’s plenty of blogs yapping about what celebrity is dating who, what beach they’ve lounged on, or what club they were seen partying at. I had to remember to just be me. And those who know me know I love fashion and beauty with an occassional rant about a random topic. But through it all you stuck by me. I am truly thankful that you even bother to come by my little spot on the web. To read where I’ve been and who I saw. I love those who choose to comments and even you silent readers who don’t. I am so happy to connect with you guys on Twitter. So again I thank you! XOXO.
