From actresses, editors, designers, supermodels, musicians (except Lady Gaga, hmm!?), and socialites, the who’s who of the entertainment industry attended the annual Costume Institute Gala At The Metropolitan Museum Of Art (or what we fashionistas call the Met Gala). Some of my favorite designs were spotted on the red carpet. Marchesa, Chanel, McQueen, Valentino, Prabal Gurung, Zac Posen, Jason Wu, and more. What’s a girl to do with soooo many fab designers. Gawk and dream!

For those fashion obsessed like myself check, out a few of my favorites (and my WTF’s) and who they wore.

Beyonce in Pucci

I hear she could barely walk in this Pucci (McQueen-ish) gown. Regardless she looks stunning but can someone tell Jay-Z it doesn’t matter WHO you are… you need a hair cut!

Fergie in Marchesa

OMGezzy! This is so my wedding dress. The lace screams 80′s but blends well with the tulle train. I think I would have prefered an up-do hairstyle for Fergie. But you agree that Marchesa does the best at red carpet designs, right?!

Diane Kruger in Jason Wu

You can no go wrong with Wu, say that really fast 3 times, LOL. And she gives us THE perfect red carpet pose!

Gisele Bundchen in McQueen

Gorgeous red gown paired with rouge makeup application on Gisele. And is she standing on a chair she looks 8 feet tall.

Leighton Meester in Vuitton

A corseted dress made with cotton grosgrain ribbons and leather bands – so modern chic.

Jennifer Hudson in Vera Wang

Lately we’ve seen Jennifer Hudson in bright hues or her staple black but this champagne gown is a nice fashion change. I approve.

Rihanna in Stella McCartney

I love the potential of her look. She does really well with daring pieces but she lost me with the shoes and the goddess braid?!

Sarah Jessica Parker in McQueen

This might just be my favorite (besides the Marchesa gown). And you know Carrie Bardshaw can do NO wrong in our fashion eyes. She’s looks beyond gorgeous in McQueen.

Check out all of the looks from the evening and chime in on your favorite looks from the night.
